About the Control Panel

The Control Panel category gives you access to the main options for your weblog: basic settings, archives, syndication, access restriction, email, etc. All characteristics that are not related to posts, lists, photo albums or design are gathered under this heading.

The different headings of the "Control Panel" category are the following :

• The_heading_Basic_Settings
• The heading Syndication
• The heading Access restriction
• The heading Newsletter
• The heading File manager
• The heading Email
• The heading Mobility
• The heading Profile
• The_heading_Export

Upon creation of your weblog, all options are set to best suit most blogs:

• Your weblog displays your last 3 posts on its welcome page. To modify this setting, go to The heading Basic settings.
• Your weblog is displayed on our home page every time a new post is added. It remains displayed until it is replaced by new updated weblogs. Each weblog update is notified to main weblog search engines. To change these settings, go to The heading Basic settings.
• Your weblog files your posts every month. Each month, a page corresponding to the previous month is created and displays all posts published during this period. To modify these settings, go to The heading Basic settings.
• Your weblog enables your visitors to syndicate all existing posts. To modify this setting, go to The heading Syndication.
• Your weblog is public (or private depending on the choice you made upon creation of your weblog). To modify your weblog's access, go to The_heading_access_restriction.
