Changing the design of my blog

  • How do I change the appearence of my blog?
  • Is it possible to customize the appearence of my blog according to my ideas?

Answers

If you want to modify the presentation of your blog, you have to be logged in :

  1. Click on the category Design.
  2. Choose the template that best fits to the topic of your blog. Keep in mind that you can click on Preview to look at your blog in advance, before the final decision.
  3. Personalize your template by clicking on the Customize button. In order to finally apply the chosen presentation to your blog, click on the Use this template button. The presentation of your blog will then be modified.


If you wish to personalize the presentation of your blog according to your ideas, you can manually modify the style sheet. However, this modification requires HTML skills:
  1. Click on the category Design and then on Advanced settings.
  2. Click on the link Edit template of the Style sheet template. You can for example modify the banner of your blog or Expanding_my_page


Important remark : if you want to look at your blog after all changes have been executed, please remember to reload the page of your blog by using the command ctrl + F5 (PC) or Cmd-Shift-r (Mac). This way your effected changes become visible on your blog.
