The file manager is a real online personal "hard disk" where you can upload and stock every kind of files in order to use them later, for instance to insert a multimedia file in your posts, or as items in the sidebars or even just to put them there so that you can find them whenever you need and wherever you are.
Click on the section File manager of heading Control panel to enter the file manger.
When your blog was born the system 4 created folders:
- files: the "files" folder contains all the files you have submitted into your posts.
- images: the "images" folder contains all the images you have submitted into your posts.
- album: the "album" folder contains all the photos you have submitted into your photo albums.
- list: the "list" folder contains all the files you have submitted into your lists (documents, films, etc.).
You can read throughout those 4 folders. You only need to click on one of the folders' links in order to explore its contents. On the contrary, only the "files" and "images" folders can be modified. You cannot add nor delete files into the "album" and "list" folders. You cannot add files either nor to create new files with the site "root".
