Home > The daily management of my blog
If you want to allow your readers to receive the news from your internet site without being force to install the RSS aggregator (see The_heading_syndication), you can use in the Newsletter heading in Control Panel a newsletter form allowing you to send all your recent posts to your readers with your preferred delay (but not more than 1 newsletter every week).
You must first activate the newsletter in order to use it.
Submit the address email and the name that will be used to define the Sender of the newsletter, in order to activate it.When you have done so, a new block will be displayed in your blog: the Newsletter block. This will allow your readers to subscribe or unsubscribe to the service by submitting their email address. You might change its position in your blog's page by clicking on Sidebar content in te heading Design.
You can create and send a newsletter to all your subscribed readers each week. To do so, select all your last posts or either all the posts you did not include in your fomer newsletter and click on Create a newsletter. These 2 options allow you to choose the preferred number of posts included in the newsletter and to select an automatic method to compose the body of your newsletter. You can clearly compose every single newsletter with the only posts you wish, too.
All the email addresses collected by your blog will be visible in the Mailing List section of this heading.
You will always be able to add (or remove) email addresses from your mailing list by adding new addresses (or removing the ones you wish).
Look carefully: in order to make all those changes effective, you must submit only email one address per line.
The last part of the page allows you to edit the settings for sending your newsletter.
