The heading Syndication

The heading Syndication in the category Control Panel allows you to modify the settings of syndication of your blog.

The syndication of posts in your blog allows your readers to stay informed of posts that are published over the software "RSS aggregator". By default our service authorizes the syndication of your posts in order to allow your readers to subscribe to your updates.

There are 3 syndication options :

No, do not authorize the syndication of my notes : your visitors cannot read your posts over an aggregator. Your readers will have to visit your blog if they want to inform themselves of your blog updates. We do not advise you to choose this option since it seems inappropriate for blogging in our eyes. Remark: if your weblog has a private status, your readers will have to know the user name and the password of your blog in order to syndicate your notes in their software. Syndication and a private blog are thus not incompatible.
Yes, syndicate my full posts : the entire post can be exported and read in an aggregator.
Yes, partially syndicate my posts : only the first words of your post are syndicated. Your readers can be informed of your blog updates via their software and they can have a partial overview of your posts. However, they have to visit your blog in order to read the full post.

Choose the syndication option that seems the most appropriate to you and click on the Update information button to save the changes.
