Train Station somewhere in England, (forget where.)

Nothing much to report from me. Same old stuff.

Elder son came last weekend, that was good. Goes too quick though.

Big excitememt on the horizon though. Sister and I booked to go to London and see a show. Booked today. It's ages since I went to London. Years ago. I met my cousin there and it poured down all day.

We will have 2 nights bed and breakfast. Not exactly Banff or SFO but it will be good fun.

Plenty of time to get organised so might have to buy some new things. Stopping smoking and stopping working has made me put on a bit of weight.
My fault too as should do a bit, no, a lot more exercise.

It is nearing the end of our younger son and his wife's 5th wedding anniversary that has been today. That time has gone quick.

Hello, you all missed me??

No? Ok.

It's summer now and very warm indeed. Just popped in for a little chat. About what? Nothing much. Sorry.

I am still not smoking, a few more days and I will be 21 months without a ciggie.
Who is a clever girl then?
I must admit that now and then I still fancy a cig. The difference is and will always be, (I hope,) that I just fancy one but don't need one. Does that make sense??

Today I spent time at son and daughter-law's house. They were at work. I said I would wait for a delivery for them. And I did. But one of the items was damaged so off I go on Thursday to await for the replacement.

Still no plans for a holiday. Was supposed to go to Banff the year after our San Francisco trip. Never got there though and it's ages ago, or seems ages ago since June 2006.

Our granddaughter will very soon be eighteen. I just can't believe it really. No sign of any other grandchildren. Boo hoo.

Have joined a geneology site, very interesting but also frustrating. I am not very good with these things so maybe I should be getting more out of it than I have. I find people very helpful on the site though. I don't think I would have done without them, so thank you.

Walking 'n' shopping.

Today we went shopping and a quick walk down the promenade.Have you ever had one of those days when you go about your business and see no one you know? Today, we saw three people and had long chats with them.Two work or worked at the hospital, the other lady is the wife of one of our ex patients. Nice to see her and know he is doing quite well. Lovely couple they are. No work up to now and I will tell you, no cigs either. In fact, sent one of the ladies we met today to go and get some patches! I hope they work for her. She had been told that I had stopped and she thought if I could do it, so could she! I did tell her about my slip ups and told her, it seemed to get easier. Good luck S. Morecambe was ok, then it started raining. Huh.
